
Invite people to take part wisely and responsibly
As the 2019 Indonesian Election approaches, tensions between the opposing parties are running high. Hoaxes and hate speech appear to be unavoidable during this period. In response, the Tifa Foundation, an organization dedicated to fostering an open-minded society, has launched a campaign targeted at the youth. This initiative encourages young people to embrace differences and come together in unity. To maximize their reach, the Tifa Foundation has partnered with In-Docs to connect with a diverse audience. The campaign is titled #akusiapbersikap (I'm Ready to Take Part).
The objective of the #akusiapbersikap campaign is to promote unity and tolerance within the Indonesian community, empowering individuals to remain unprovoked and to critically evaluate the news they encounter. We are responsible for designing the campaign branding and all associated elements, including the website and social media platforms.
The challenge:
We aim to participate in this campaign in a manner that remains non-political. The message must be clear and inclusive. Additionally, we need to ensure that their online presence—both the website and social media—is strong enough to be impactful. Offline events, such as workshops and exhibitions, are also essential for reaching a wide audience.
The solution:
To effectively engage the youth in the Indonesian community, we will collaborate with illustrators, artists, photographers, musicians, and filmmakers. We have chosen bright magenta and lemon yellow colors to convey a dynamic and modern feel that resonates with youthful energy. By combining the artists' illustrations with our vibrant design, the campaign will foster a friendly and progressive atmosphere alongside the younger generation.
