Simplifying a Complex Product Catalog for a Better User Experience
Leder Haus offers a wide range of leather, synthetic leather, flooring, and related services. Their key strengths include product variety, quality, and personalized service. Our challenge was to translate these strengths into a website that is both informative and intuitive, primarily serving interior designers who seek inspiration and specific materials.
We started by mapping out user behavior: understanding what visitors need, how they search, and which information is most relevant to them. Based on this research, we designed a user flow that facilitates a smooth transition from browsing for inspiration to filtering products by brand, category, and color. Leder Haus features two main brands, each with multiple categories and extensive color options. We included color charts and application examples to help users visualize the materials in real-world settings.

Visitors can request product samples through a streamlined checkout process. Once a request is submitted, Leder Haus sends the sample patches to the user. To do this, visitors must register, allowing them to save their favorite products for future visits.
To support content management, we built a CMS that enables the client to easily update product information, news, projects, and services. The variety of products—one of Leder Haus’s main selling points—is prominently featured on the homepage, showcasing their creativity and capabilities.
In addition to managing content and complexity, security was a key concern. While there is no direct payment on the site, data protection is crucial. We implemented a one-time password (OTP) login for added security and convenience, eliminating the need for users to remember passwords.
The result is a website that inspires users, simplifies navigation, and reflects the brand’s professionalism. It offers visitors a better way to explore, choose, and connect with Leder Haus.
